The position provides support to international publishing units, but this is primarily a transactional position. The new team member will focus on drafting, negotiating and reviewing agreements for our Sales and Operations groups, including distribution, digital product sales, manufacturing, warehouse services and miscellaneous facilities agreements. The position also entails addressing the day-to-day needs of the international publishing teams in the UK, Canada, India and Australia (with a primary focus on the UK) and assisting on digital-related initiatives. The position will counsel clients on various legal and commercial risks related to contractual arrangements, and media, intellectual property, privacy, technology and digital issues and will partner strategically with the operations, sales and publishing teams and act as a general advisor and consulting resource from the Legal Department.
