Ensure compliance with laws affecting broad-based tax-qualified retirement and welfare benefit plans, such as ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code (Code), the Affordable Care Act (ACA), HIPAA and applicable global laws. Responsibilities include reviewing Form 11-K, Form 5500 and other filings and disclosures, drafting and reviewing plan amendments, SPDs, employee communications, negotiating third-party vendor agreements, supporting in-house plan committees, and advising on plan design changes, error corrections and appeals.
