Sesame Workshop seeks an experienced attorney to work in a variety of practice areas unique to a global nonprofit educational media organization including but not limited to: digital distribution, philanthropy, social impact initiatives, corporate governance, strategic investments in limited partnerships/funds, managing legal and business affairs for Sesame Workshop’s nonprofit subsidiary the Joan Ganz Cooney Center as it expands its offerings for tech companies, and setting up international subsidiaries, including establishing policies and procedures and creating applicable templates. The successful candidate will have the ability to self-start, proactively engage internal clients and counsel, and manage transactions to completion.
