Senior Counsel Global Benefits

As Senior Counsel, Global Employee Benefits, you will be a member of HP's worldwide Employment and Benefits Law Team and report to the Associate General Counsel and Global Head of Employment Law and Integrity Policy. Any U.S. location works for this role (Hybrid).

This role will be responsible for: Providing legal counsel and strategic advice to the People Organization on the full scope of U.S. health and welfare, retirement programs, qualified plans, and ERISA-related matters, including draft plan amendments; Partnering with regional teams to advise on global benefits/employee health and welfare plans;
Assisting in both the design and administration of qualified plans and health and welfare plans, as well as advise the pension investment group; Involved in 409A and benefits-related tax issues, and providing support for corporate transactions and benefits litigation.
interact closely with design and administrative teams, and functional partners for the qualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans, related wellness strategies, non-ERISA fringe benefit plans
