The GS Legal Division is looking for an attorney with registered funds experience and strong working knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940. The role will be based in either New York, NY or Dallas, TX within the Global Markets Legal team and will involve advising on the regulation, establishment, management, governance and marketing of ETFs (including equity, debt, and other asset class funds). The attorney will support senior stakeholders across business and control-side teams with all aspects of new business initiatives related to the formation of new ETFs, including identification of legal and reputational risks, managing external counsel, negotiating agreements, participation on firm committees, and development of policies, procedures, and other governance materials.
