We are seeking a non-partnership track patent attorney with at least six years, and more preferably at least eight years, of experience in mechanical engineering work. Experience in engines, transmissions, suspensions, electric drive trains, industrial automation, robotics, pumping technology, and/or consumer products and a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is desired. Successful candidates will work with partners and clients in patent preparation, prosecution, portfolio management, and clearance matters. Experience or a desire to mentor junior colleagues is also desired. Patent experience in the mechanical and electrical arts will also be considered. Patent bar admission and Indiana bar admission or the ability to waive into Indiana is required.
