Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, is seeking a staff attorney with a minimum of four years of litigation experience to join our nationally recognized health care practice. We are looking for candidates who want to be part of a dynamic, top-tier health care litigation practice, litigating complex, important and often first-impression matters for the largest health care institutions in the state. Candidates should have hands-on litigation experience, including conducting legal research, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, conducting witness interviews, counseling clients, drafting pleadings, writing briefs, and preparing and arguing motions. Excellent legal writing and research skills are required. Candidates should be aware that this staff attorney position is distinct from an associate position and is not considered on track for advancement to partnership.
