The General Counsel is the organization’s chief legal advisor, responsible for overseeing the organization’s legal department. They play a strategic role in providing guidance and counsel at the senior levels of TNTP in the areas of legal and reputation risk. Reporting to senior leadership on the SGL&F division, the General Counsel will be responsible for leading all functions of the Legal Department, with a primary focus on contracts, compliance, risk management, 501©(3) governance, insurance, finance, real estate, grants, copyright, data privacy and security, licensing agreements, employment matters and overall advisement to the organization.
