Lucas Museum of Narrative Art
The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art (the Museum) seeks a General Counsel who will serve as an integral member of the Museums senior team. The General Counsel will be an experienced attorney responsible for overseeing all of the Museums legal issues, including contract negotiations; compliance with exempt organization law; tax and trust and estate matters; intellectual property issues; employee and labor relations; business or other strategic agreements; and legal issues related to exhibitions, art acquisitions, dispositions, and loans. A newly created position, the General Counsel will be a strategic partner of the Director and the executive team and is a critical and creative thinker, with strong problem-solving skills and able to devise solutions to help the Museum achieve its institutional goals, operational needs, and strategic initiatives. This role will provide expert professional advice, consultation and support to the Board of Directors, Director & CEO and the executive team on all legal issues.
