Maintain strong, productive relationships with key internal clients while serving as a trusted legal advisor, legal risk manager, and business partner. Serve as a technical expert in particular area(s) of specialization. Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to: (i) Providing legal advice to business and functional partners regarding the risks related to all aspects of human capital management, including recruiting, hiring, managing, and disciplining employees, based on applicable employment laws and regulations, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, EPA, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, and state labor and wage laws; (ii) Managing a portfolio of employment litigation, including selection and management of outside counsel, development of strategy, setting budgets, review of pleadings, facilitating discovery, and optimizing case resolutions.
