Seeking a senior attorney to serve in the position of Director and Senior Corporate Counsel reporting to the Senior Director and Senior Corporate Counsel and the Vice President and Associate General Counsel. Key Responsibilities: 1) Draft, negotiate and advise on a variety of complex commercial agreements (e.g., inbound and outbound technology licenses, service agreements, co-marketing and co-branding agreements and software and SaaS agreements); 2) Provide strategic legal advice to the Law Department and senior business unit leaders regarding Verisign’s registry, product and marketing businesses. The Director role will advise on contract interpretation and risk, policies and regulations related to Verisign’s registry business, new product initiatives, advertising content and agreements, customer contract issues and marketing programs
