The Assistant General Counsel position is the primary responsible counsel for legal support and advice relating to proposals, contracts, claims, and other transactions for BWXT AT. Responsibilities include negotiation and interpretation of project and business-related contracts, contract enforcement during and after project execution, claim development and defense, assistance with project related dispute resolution, proposal analysis and preparation, organizational conflict of interest evaluation, supervision of junior attorneys and paralegals, training and general business line support. Provides legal guidance, counsel and support to all levels of company executives and project management, procurement and contract administration personnel. Direct report to the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, with indirect reporting to the President, Advanced Technologies.
